Aluminium  Catamaran Black Gold"Black Gold 2007 "

New Wave Catamarans recently launched on Feb 2000 a 20 meter vessel built for Oz Future Fuels. This unique vessel is has oil recycling capabilities as well as oil spill cleanup facilities designed by inventor Allan Lear. Aluminium Pleasure Catamaran XTC II"XTC II 2006 "

Launched Aug 2006 a new pleasure vessel called XTC II for the proud new owners. This 13 meter liveaboard catamaran is based on a Stanyon design and is powered by two 144 hp Steyrs with shaft drives. This is the second aluminium catamaran that the owners have built and they are happy to vouch for the high quality and quick build time of the vessel by New Wave and are very satisfied customers.

Aluminium Crew Catamaran Bue Tobol "Eclipse" Launched 2006

Launched in June 2006 and built for Calypso Cruises in Port Douglas. This dive catamaran is based on the previous vessel "Eclipse" we built for this customer. With a new wide-body design and roomier interior this is proving to be an outstanding functional design achieving extremely good economy.

Aluminium 17 Metre Cat "Cat Balou"

Graham and Ros have just taken delivery of their new cruise and whale watching boat which will operate out of Eden NSW. This 16 meter cat is powered by twin 300 hp Cummins achieving a max speed of 20 knots. The simple layout means maximum usability and a versatile vessel.

Aluminium Crew Catamaran Bue Tobol"Four Vessels 2005-2006 "

"Tobal" "Daryn" "Naryn" "OB"

Four of a five crew boat contract completed and shipped to the Caspian Sea. These four18 metre high speed cats are low draft jet powered. There are three 27 knot vessel and one is a faster 32 knot vessel. Built to Lloyds register and highest oil industry standards. Click here for more info on these crew boat catamarans.

"Bue Tekes 2006 "

 

The smallest of the 5 boat order for the Capsian Sea and Launched Mar 2006 this 13 metre crew boat has a top speed of 25 knots with 25 passengers. Draft at only 500mm. Click here for more info on these crew boat catamarans.

 

"Liang Yu"

This 33m high speed aluminium passenger catamaran has just been launched in October 2006 by Wang-Tak in Hong Kong China to CCS rules. Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 diesel marine engines through MJP Water Jets She cruises at 26 knots.

"SeaQuest"

Launched December 2004, this vessel runs dive charters out of Cairns daily and features the new foiled winged keels. The new owners state they are getting 30 % better fuel economy and 4 knots increase in speed over their other existing 4 vessels. This 23.5 meter vessel cruises at 27 knots.

Aluminium Crew Catamaran Bue Tobol "Fantasea"

This 18.8 meter commuter ferry for Fantasea Cruises has just been completed. This vessel will operate in the Whitsundays in Queensland Australia. This aluminium passenger catamaran is licenced to carry 130 passengers in USL Code Class 1D. The vessel is powered by twin Deutz 430 hp Diesel engines and top speed is over 25 knots.

"Eclipse"

Launched September 2004 this vessel operates out of Port Douglas for dive trips on a daily basis.  Setting new standards in room and comfort for passengers this 23.5 meter vessel cruises at 24 knots and features innovations such as hydraulic dive platform which lowers down to a sea level for easy access for diving.

"Tasman Venture"

Launched Aug 2004, this 19.4m aluminium catamaran Tasman Venture is the second vessel that New Wave Catamarans have built. The vessel operates out of the Whale Watching township of Hervey Bay.  This vessel features below hull accommodation and underwater viewing chambers.

The Three First Ferry Boats "First Ferry IX, X, XI "

Launched across 2003 and 2004 the three First Ferry boats were built using a prefabricated Kit system where the hull was designed and prefabricated in Australia and then sent by container to China where the rest of construction was completed. These vessels operate as ferries out of Hong Kong Harbour to the outlying islands. For more information and photo's on the Kit set system please click here.

"Saratoga"

Launched Nov 2003 our 12 meter passenger aluminium catamaran featured fuel efficient hull design.  During sea trials she showed outstanding economy and performance-  Top speed 21 Knots, cruise at 18 knots from 2 x 220 hp. 

"Quick Cat"

This 17 meter whale watching aluminium catamaran was launched in July 2003 and is now operating out of Hervey Bay Queensland.  In trials she exceeded her predicted speed by two knots and is proving a very popular vessel with the public. Features full walk around decks for whale viewing and full lower level wheelchair access.

"Crystal Spirit"

Our second 24 meter Aluminium Passenger Catamaran launched in April 2003 sold to the same very happy customer who previously purchased "Aqua Spirit". This high speed low wash ferry has a capacity of 220 passengers in partially smooth waters and has the added feature of 100 passengers in Class 1C(coastal services)

"Aqua Spirit"

Our 24 meter Aluminium Passenger Catamaran launched in October 2002. This high speed low wash ferry carries 220 passengers in comfort. The vessel normally operates in the North Sydney region and is often seen on Sydney harbour operating as a backup for the Sydney transit authority.

"Rampage"

A 6.1 meter, high performance cat built for private or commercial purposes.  She is powered by two 130 Hp Yamahas with a top speed of 37 knots. Launched December 2002.

 

"Lady Rose"

This fine vessel operates out of Sydney harbour as a Cruise vessel. At 25 meters she carries up to 500 passengers in high comfort. This multifunction vessel caters for Parties, Weddings, Conventions and Cruises. Featuring full walk around decks on both levels. Bar/Servery operate on each level with galley food preparation. Refrigeration is located in the hulls.

 

"Olympic Storm"

Olympic storm operates out of Sydney Harbour as a VIP cruise vessel. With silver service for 150 pax on the lower deck, the split level concept allows for intimate passenger space. Features include lobby with galley bar and servery on both sides, a suspended dance floor and all round viewing.
