<title>New 33 Metre Catamarans For Hong Kong China Route</title>
<link>http://www.chineseferries.com/seacat_33_sz.html</link>
<description>CMCS have been commissioned to design new vessels for Wang Tak in Hong Kong.

The 33 metre aluminium ferry designs (2 units for the Hong Kong/Shenzen Run) are based on the proven 33 metre high speed cat launched in China early this year.

These are the CMCS deep-vee, hard chine hulls which are proving hard to match in both performance and fuel economy. The 40 metre version is currently being developed with tank testing due in October 2006.
