New “Seacat 33” for China operations.

Mid-August 2011 saw the delivery of the latest 33 Metre High-Speed Ferry “Peng Zing 11” Built by Wang Tak / Guangdong Hongshen in Guangzhou China. This Ferry is the first of two for the proud new owners with the second due for launching in late October 2011. The vessel meet to contact speed of 27.5 with a full load. Amazing considering powering is via only 2x 1080kw each. The well appointed vessel has excellent fuel economy and a very comfortable ride, offering owners and economical option to the tradition gass guzzling ferry’s of the past. In this version the owner has selected the Doen Waterjets. A new Sea Speed Designed “Seacat 33” high speed ferry has been ordered for China operations. This is the seventh version of this fuel efferent 33 Metre hull to be built by Wang Tak Shipyard. Deckhouse layout is custom designed to suit 167 pax spaciously seated on the lower deck and 32 Pax in the upper VIP Lounge. New features on this version are the Mtu 12V Engines (1080K.W.) and Doen DJ 260 Water Jets.

The standard of construction is high and to CCS (China Classification Society). LR (Lloyds Register) or most other international standards are available. The standard of this end product Fast Ferry is of export quality.
